How to Clear Cache Pages in Social Networks Facebook and VK

When updating the Artcoast website, we faced the issue of erroneous cache of pages on social networks Facebook and VKontakte. In our case, covers and titles were changed that needed to be updated in the FB and VK cache. But sometimes, when you try to share a post or page on Facebook for the first time, the cover may not load or the title is missing for some reason, the data remains in the cache of the social network in this form. So, if someone else shares your page in the future, Facebook will not load data from the site, but will take it from the cache. It makes sense that this is done to increase speed with repeated reposting.

To resolve the cache issue on Facebook, there is an Open Graph Objects debugger. This tool will allow you to check how the social network sees your pages, whether it loads titles and covers correctly.

You need to enter the address of the page that needs to be checked or corrected into the line and click the "Debug" button. On the next page, Facebook will provide information about the requested page based on the data in the cache. If the data isn't there, it will be collected again. If the information needs to be updated, you should click the "Scrape Again" button.
