Font End User License Agreement (Font EULA)

This Font End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “Licensee”) and Artcoast LLC (“Artcoast,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your use of the font software purchased, downloaded, or otherwise obtained from Artcoast LLC or an authorized retailer.
By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Font Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install, access, or use the Font Software.

2. Scope of This License
This is our standard desktop font license. It permits use of the Font Software for desktop design work, print projects, logos, branding, and static flattened images for websites, subject to the terms below.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, this standard license does not include:
live webfont use
app embedding
software embedding
SaaS or platform use
use that allows end users to create their own editable output with the Font Software
redistribution of the Font Software itself
Any rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved by Artcoast LLC.
3. Definitions
“Font Software”
The font files and related materials provided by Artcoast LLC, including but not limited to OTF, TTF, updates, add-ons, artwork, documentation, and associated typographic designs.
“End Product”
A final design or creative output made using the Font Software in accordance with this Agreement, where the Font Software itself is not distributed as a standalone editable asset.
“Service Provider”
A third party such as a designer, printer, studio, freelancer, or production partner working for you or your company under contract.
“Authorized Retailer”
A seller expressly authorized by Artcoast LLC to distribute licenses for the Font Software.
4. License Grant
Upon full payment, Artcoast LLC grants the Licensee named on the invoice a single, ongoing, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use the Font Software as permitted by this Agreement.
5. What You May Do
Under this standard license, you may:
install the Font Software on up to five (5) devices owned and controlled by you
use the Font Software in personal and commercial projects
use the Font Software to create logos, branding, business cards, invitations, packaging, social media graphics, posters, books, advertising materials, and other static visual designs
use the Font Software in static flattened images for websites, online stores, social media, and digital content, provided the font is not embedded as a live editable webfont
use the Font Software in video content, motion graphics, digital advertising, social media videos, film, and similar audiovisual projects
create and sell End Products that incorporate the Font Software in a non-editable form
make one (1) backup copy of the Font Software for archival purposes only
temporarily provide the Font Software to a Service Provider working on your behalf, provided that:
the Service Provider uses it only for your project
the Service Provider does not gain ownership or independent rights to the Font Software
the Service Provider deletes all copies when the project or contract ends
You may also embed the Font Software in a non-editable electronic document for internal, business, or client presentation purposes only, provided the Font Software cannot be extracted or reused by the recipient.
6. What You May Not Do
Unless we give prior written permission, you may not:
resell, sublicense, share, lend, rent, gift, or redistribute the Font Software
upload the Font Software to public websites, repositories, marketplaces, or download services
include the Font Software in templates, editable client files, or products where the recipient can access or extract the font files
use the Font Software as a live webfont without a separate webfont license
embed the Font Software in mobile apps, desktop software, devices, games, or other software products
use the Font Software in SaaS products, online generators, design tools, template builders, or services where end users can type with the font or create their own designs
modify, adapt, convert, trace, alter, or create derivative font files based on the Font Software without prior written permission
claim the Font Software, or any modified or derivative version of it, as your own work
transfer this license to another person or company without our prior written consent
use the Font Software in any unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or harmful manner
7. Client Work
You may use the Font Software to create work for clients, but the license remains with you unless the client purchases their own license.
You may deliver final non-editable assets to a client, but you may not transfer the Font Software itself unless the client has a valid license from Artcoast LLC or an Authorized Retailer.
If your client needs to install, edit, reproduce, or continue using the Font Software independently, the client must purchase their own license.
8. Freebies and Promotional Fonts
If the Font Software is provided as a free product, promotional download, trial, or giveaway, additional restrictions may apply.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise:
freebies are licensed, not sold
freebies may not be used in giveaways, resold bundles, or redistributed downloads
freebies may have separate commercial or usage limits
we may change or discontinue freebies at any time
9. Broadcast and Extended Use
This standard license includes limited broadcast use up to 60 viewing minutes per calendar year.
If your project exceeds that amount, or if you need extended rights for large-scale campaigns, software, apps, SaaS, OEM, webfont, or other special use, contact us at hello@artcoastdesign.com for a custom license.
10. Unauthorized Use and Illegal Copies
If you obtained the Font Software from an unauthorized source, pirated website, shared folder, repost, unlicensed bundle, or any source not authorized by Artcoast LLC, you have no rights under this Agreement.
Use of illegally obtained Font Software is a violation of this Agreement and may infringe copyright and other intellectual property rights.
11. Ownership and Intellectual Property
The Font Software is licensed, not sold.
Artcoast LLC retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Font Software, including all copyrights, trademark rights, design rights, intellectual property rights, and all copies of the Font Software.
Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of the Font Software to you.
12. Termination
This license automatically terminates if you violate this Agreement.
Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Font Software and destroy all copies in your possession or control, including copies held by Service Providers acting on your behalf.
Termination does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Artcoast LLC.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Font Software is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the Font Software will be error-free, compatible with every device or software environment, or suitable for every intended purpose.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artcoast LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the Font Software.
Our total liability under this Agreement will not exceed the amount actually paid for the specific Font Software license giving rise to the claim.
15. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be resolved in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
16. Amendments
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the Font Software after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
