Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 19, 2026
Artcoast LLC (“Artcoast,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with our mobile and desktop applications, website, and related services.
This Policy applies to applications published by Dmitry Mashkin and Artcoast LLC, including iOS, iPadOS, and macOS apps, as well as the website artcoastdesign.com.
1. Overview
We design our products to use as little personal data as possible.
Most of our apps do not require account creation or sign-in. We do not sell personal data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in our apps, and we do not use app data for ad targeting, retargeting, or cross-app profiling.
Some apps offer optional AI-powered features. When you choose to use those features, certain content you provide may be processed by third-party AI service providers in order to generate responses, summaries, insights, or suggestions.
Our website may process customer information when you make a purchase or contact us.
2. Mobile and Desktop Apps
2.1 General App Privacy
Most of our apps do not require registration, login, or account setup.
Depending on the app and the features you use, our apps may process:
text you enter into the app
entries and content stored locally on your device
optional exported files such as PDF or TXT
optional location data when needed for app functionality
optional Apple Health data, only if you explicitly grant permission
purchase and subscription status provided by Apple
In general, our apps are designed so that user content remains primarily on the device unless you choose to use a feature that requires transmission, such as AI processing, export, sync, or sharing.
2.2 AI Features
Some of our apps provide optional AI-powered features. When you actively use those features, relevant content may be sent to third-party AI service providers for processing.
We use our own backend to route AI requests. As part of normal operation, we do not use that backend to store the app content you submit for AI processing. Requests are forwarded to third-party AI service providers so the requested feature can work.
We do not sell AI-submitted content.
We do not use AI-submitted content for advertising.
We do not intentionally create marketing profiles based on AI-submitted content.
Because AI processing is provided by third parties, their own privacy, security, and retention practices may apply to the processing they perform.
2.3 App-Specific Disclosures
Lunadream
If you use AI features in Lunadream, the app may process dream descriptions and other text you choose to enter. That content may be sent to a third-party AI service provider in order to generate dream-related interpretations or responses.
Weather Assistant AI
If you use AI features in Weather Assistant AI, the app may process your location or location-based weather context, current weather information, and any text you submit. This information may be sent to a third-party AI service provider only to generate weather-related insights or advice.
NOPE: Spend Smart
If you use AI features in NOPE, the app may process the product, item, or purchase description you submit so the app can generate AI-based spending feedback, suggestions, or discouragement-style responses.
Sugar AI
Sugar AI may process user-provided content such as glucose entries, insulin entries, food or nutrition entries, calories, notes, and journal text.
By default, these entries are stored locally on the device.
If you choose to use AI insight or AI reporting features, relevant portions of that data may be sent to a third-party AI service provider in order to generate summaries, reports, observations, or insights.
Sugar AI may also support PDF export and TXT export.
Sugar AI may also read from or write to Apple Health, but only if you explicitly grant permission. In the future, this may include data such as glucose, insulin, calories, and other nutrition-related data supported by the app.
2.4 Health Data and Apple Health
Some apps, including Sugar AI, may access Apple Health data if you give permission through Apple’s authorization controls.
We only access Health data for the features you choose to enable. We do not access Apple Health data unless you explicitly authorize that access.
Depending on the feature, Apple Health-related data may include glucose, insulin, calories, food or nutrition-related information, and other categories supported by the app.
Health-related entries and imported information may remain stored locally on your device unless you choose a feature that requires additional processing, such as AI analysis, export, sync, or sharing.
Our apps are not medical devices unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any AI-generated output, reports, insights, summaries, or suggestions are provided for informational purposes only and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.
2.5 Analytics, Diagnostics, and Purchases
Our apps may rely on Apple-provided services related to analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, testing, and app distribution, including:
Apple, App Store, StoreKit, TestFlight, iCloud, and HealthKit.
For subscriptions in some apps, we may also use Mercato.
We do not use third-party ad SDKs in our apps, and we do not display third-party advertising in our apps.
2.6 Data Retention for Apps
For many of our apps, most user content is stored locally on your device and remains under your control unless you delete it.
AI request content is not stored by our backend as part of normal operation, but it may be processed by third-party AI service providers according to their own systems and policies.
If you export content as PDF or TXT, those exported files remain where you choose to save, store, or share them.
Because most of our apps do not use user accounts on our own servers, there may be little or no server-side personal data for us to delete.
2.7 Children’s Privacy in Apps
Our apps may be used by a general audience, including users under 13 in some cases. Most apps do not require account creation.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has submitted personal information to us through an app or another service under our control, they may contact us and we will review and delete the information where applicable.
